The compact case and mirror are made of plastic. The compact case is partly made from recycled plastic. In addition, a metal powder tray is glued to the compact case. Remove the empty metal powder tray by pushing it out through the rectangular hole in the base, and recycle it as metal. Remove the top of the lid, which has a mirror attached, by using the cavity above the hinge on the back of the compact. The removed lid with a mirror can be used as an on-the-go mirror after the powder has been used. Recycle the rest of the compact case as plastic. The protective cardboard is made out of FSC® certified recyclable cardboard (FSC-N003275). Please dispose the applicator in your general waste. Follow your local authority guidelines especially when recycling plastics.
